Zamil and maliZ of Berlin

Zamil and maliZ are a couple in Berlin who are involved in Fetish and Bondage performance art, photography, poetry and teaching among other exciting things. I like shows like this and hope to produce one here sometime soon. But Austin is not Berlin. Man, is it not Berlin!

I have corresponded with Zamil for a few years and met him last year when he stayed with me here in Austin when he came for the Austin Rope Symposium. We spent many hours talking about history, culture and the present state of rope art. His style is both traditional and current with a distinctly European flair. Anyone who has seen him perform can vouch for his charisma and skill.

We wish maliZ good luck on her show and hope to see more of this exciting and creative couple here in the US
